STUDY VISITS

The eight study visits aim to present to the participants a set of ‘collaborative spaces’ all linked to the sharing economy theme. Located in different districts of the city of Milan, they include incubators, accelerators, FabLabs, co-working spaces, and various initiatives launched in recent years by the municipality. In addition to the impact in terms of new businesses and employment these ‘sharing hubs’ also play an important social role; providing an opportunity to regenerate unused urban spaces. Not only do these spaces foster knowledge sharing and the collaborative economy, but they also boost urban regeneration.
